Should I be offended that he took me to watch a graphic movie on our 2nd date?

So I went on a 2nd date with a guy. He got tix for a movie showing at a film festival in our city. It was a foreign film but it was full of nudity and some graphic scenes (sex). We went after dinner and there was a Q&A with the director afterwards. Honestly I have never watched a movie like that or one with a date - so awkward. Anyway, so when we were walking for a short while I just got a cab soon and said i wanted to go home. It was a little abrupt. Would most people find it appropriate to watch such a movie on a 2nd date?
