At the House of Blues, what is better for a view of the stage, the floor or the balcony?

When I say House of Blues, I mean any of them. Just the typical design of long central floor then dual side balconies/mezzanines. Which will give you a better view? Which is safer? I'm going to see Coheed tomorrow and I have floor tickets but I'm bringing my GF. She's petite and I don't want her to get hurt so I'm considering trading with this stranger who has mezzanine tix. I've seen the guy posting on there wall about the show so I know he's legit. Suggestions?
