I'm going to India...Packing Help (clothing emergency!!)?

okay so this isnt the first time i'm going to India...i visit my family every month during the winter. but now we are going during the summer. research if you have to or believe me, IT GETS REALLY HOT! Like 110 degrees F hot! and when the electricity goes out there is no air conditioner! so its litterally going to be hell if i dont carry the right clothing! i was think shorts, but since i'm almost 15 and cultures in India don't like their older girls to wear small clothing, i won't feel comfortable wearing that in front of my grandparents. Plus every child in the family is pratically STICK skinny, ( and i'm normal as i like to describe it) i don't want them making fun of my "fat legs".... i hav shirts, and i have a pair of levis bermudas that i was planning on taking, and since jeans are litterally out of the question, can u please give me ideas on the types of clothing i should get and places i should gt them? i will carry one skirt but im not a big fan of that.... im going for a month but i just need a weeks worth so i can wash the clothing!
